Major Deepak Raj (Retd.)
Director
Deepak, a founding member of ISL, has straddled the design and delivery of leadership experiential programs spanning from sixth graders to corporate leaders. His real life experience in counter insurgency, jungle warfare coupled with his corporate stint helps him cross-pollinate ideas for insightful interactions. He revels in getting his team together to deliver form and content tailor-made to organizational needs without failing to compel audiences for an enriched living.
Amongst other accreditations, he is a certified executive coach by ICF, a certified NLP practitioner by ABNLP, rope course expert, a mountaineer, an avid biker, and an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He is a certified trainer on advanced facilitation and experiential education by Project Adventure USA.
Mr. Arvind Sherpa
Leadership Trainer
Mr. Arvind Sherpa is an experienced and tough mountaineer with over a year of experience as an instructor at Tata Steel Foundation, Jamshedpur. He is a qualified skier, mountaineer, expert in rope course, rafting, kayaking and rock climbing. Amongst the many expeditions he has led, the most notable would include Mt. Island Peak & Lobuche East in Nepal Himalayas with international clientele from Hong Kong, USA, and Korea. Amongst other accreditations, Portable adventure & Advanced facilitation by Project Adventure, USA, Train The Trainer certificate course from Bodhih Training Solutions Pvt Ltd, Master Trainer & Facilitator certification course from Middle Earth HR, Basic Mountaineering courses from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute Darjeeling, Advance Mountaineering & Search and Rescue from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering , Skiing Course from Directorate and Mountaineering and Elite sports, Manali, Para Sailing from National Adventure Foundation, Parasailing from Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, Winter Trekking expedition in Dalhousie from the Youth Hostel Association of India Himachal chapter, Jungle Trekking expedition in Satpura Forest Range Panchmarhi from the Youth Hostel Association of India Madhya Pradesh Chapter.
Mr. Praveen Singh Rana

Everester Praveen Rana having over 12 years of cumulative experience in different field of adventure, mountaineering and outdoor leadership training program in various organization in India. He has worked as an instructor at Tata Steel Adventure Foundation, Jamshedpur, where he was training Tata employees, B-schools and other corporate. He has hands on experience in outdoor leadership program and in mountaineering as a visiting instructor at NIM Uttarkhand. He has conducted school programs by Altitude Expedition Pvt. Ltd, IMME and much more renowned organization in New Delhi. He is a Passionate Experiential Trainer and is qualified with the “A’’ grade from one of the best mountaineering institutes in Asia Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi. Basic Mountaineering Course, Advance Mountaineering Course, Method of Instruction Course, Search & Rescue Training.
He has done his basic skiing course from Shymbulak Skiing School Almaty, Kazakhstan in Feb 2020. Participations in first Uttrakhand state sports wall climbing competition and secured 4 th position in speed climbing in 2008. His potential to scale the peaks were Mt. DKD2 (18740ft.) in Uttrakhand Himalaya in 2007, Mt. Stock Kangari (6,153m) in Ladakh (J&K) 2017, Mt. Golep Kangri (5,950m) in Ladakh J&K) in 2017, Mt Yunam (6111m) in Himanchal Pradesh in 2019, Mt. Everest (8848.86m) in Nepal in 2022, Mt. Kilimanjaro(5895m) highest in African continent in 2023. Among other credentials, Mr. Rana is MBA in HR from UTU Dehradun, MA in English, Post graduate.Diploma in Disaster Management, and Master in mountaineering and certified trainer by IL &FS Skills School, Dehradun. He is certified trainer for “Train the Trainer” from Bodhih Training Solution, Bangalore and “Master Trainer” certification from Middle Earth HR- Hyderabad.
Mr. Mitesh Singh
Coordinator and Leadership Trainer
Mr Mitesh Singh, a graduate in commerce,has a wide range of experience in corporate and adventure in the fields training and other aspects of individual and team development.
He has worked with Genpact for seven years in Risk Management and CAT modelling. He has varied experience His unmatched passion for travelling and outdoors inspired him transition into the field of adventure-based training. He has been instrumental in setting up a company involved in eco-tourism in Uttarakhand. He has also organized and conducted trekking expeditions for schools and corporations in Uttarakhand.
He is a qualified mountaineer, certified in basic mountaineering course from NIM, Uttarkashi and also a green belt certified six sigma. He is an avid traveler, having travelled extensively the length and breadth of the country he brings a fine blend cultural heritage, sense of belonging and oneness in the programmes.
Ms Rama Thakur
Leadership Trainer
Ms. Rama has more than 15years of experience in outbound learning and corporate, Rama brings a lot of variety into her programs. She is an experienced mountaineer and ropes course expert. She is certified in outdoor leadership certification in Basic and Advance Mountaineering, Method of Instruction; Grass Skiing Course from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports, Manali. She was awarded Best Trainee in Basic and Advance Mountaineering Courses. She is a certified open water scuba diver (PADI) and has also completed her basic skiing course from Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering, Gulmarg (J&K). Ms Rama holds Master degree in Counselling Psychology. She is a certified Master Trainer from Middle Earth HR private limited along with T3 certification from Bodhih Pvt Ltd. She is a certified NLP practitioner. She has over 4 years of experience as a Visiting Instructor at ABVIMAS Manali, 3 years of experience as Outdoor Instructor at INME. She has done a number of high-altitude treks in and around Himachal Pradesh.
She also participated in Golden Jubilee Expedition organized by ABVIMAS to Mt. Leo Pargial (6791 M.), Second Highest Peak in Himachal Pradesh, Zaskar Range, Kinnaur (H.P). She has also scaled by her are Mt. Friendship (5290 M) at Manali (H.P). She has led expeditions to peaks like – twice Mt. Yunam (6111 M) at Lahaul and Spiti Valley (H.P), Mt Deo Tibba (6001m) in alpine style and Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m) at Tanzania (SA). Rama has also led the remarkable Manali to Leh Cycling Expedition covering 450km on cycles. Amongst other credentials, she has also worked as a consultant for 4 years with D2 Consult ICT JV, engaged with “Border Road Organization” for the construction of Rohtang Pass Highway Tunnel (8.8KM) the longest tunnel at an altitude above 3000M.
Ms Sonali Jakhar
Leadership Trainer
Sonali is an accomplished and versatile individual with a diverse educational and professional background. She completed her Commerce degree from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal. She has worked as a Credit Rating Analyst at CRISIL Ratings Ltd and interned with various other organizations in different industries.
Along with being a national player in Yoga, she has attained state-level prowess in both Taekwondo and Roller Hockey. She is also an NCC ‘C’ certificate holder and a Certified Open Water Diver.
Sonali is a certified Soft Skills Trainer from Indian Leadership Academy (ILA). She is also certified in ‘Train the Trainer’ from ILA and a ‘Certified Master Trainer & Facilitator’ from Middle Earth HR.
Mr Manoj Prakassh

Mr Manoj is an Electrical Engineer from MS Ramaiah University. He has represented Karnataka & India in National & International programs in International Cadet Exchange Program (Singapore), Republic Day Camp (Delhi). He is also a boxing coach, Snake rescuer, avid trekker & Mountaineer. He has done 40+ treks in India. He recently achieved National Record “Project 9-9” wherein 9 athletes did 9 long treks in less than 24 hours. He spends most of his time in learning Rock climbing techniques & he is also part of Bangalore Climbing Initiatives with the motto increase the rock-climbing community in India. He has completed motorcycle expedition for 11011kms covering 13 states & 1 UT to Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar) to promote Swachh Bharat. He is also a Team Captain of Team Shershah which is currently 4th place in Asia for Adventure Racing. He has represented India in Koh Samui (Thailand) in Adventure Racing. His interests in outdoors is limitless & his passion towards mountaineer is taking him to Basic Mountaineering Course.
Mr Abhishek Kumar

“Mr Abhishek Kumar is a lawyer and a graduate in life sciences from Delhi university. He has been recommended for the Indian Army and has secured All India Rank 28 in merit. After freelancing as a Lifestyle & Health Coach, he has successfully mentored clients online across the globe. During his cadet days with NCC he was appointed as Junior Under Officer for 3 years and awarded as the Best NCC Cadet of the year at Sri Aurobindo College. He represented the NCC wing at the Chief Minister’s rally in 2017 at Talkatora stadium, Delhi and also . He has also at National Level Camp at DG NCC (RDC 2018) and marched in the NCC contingent on 26th Jan 2019 on Rajpath. A budding trekker, he recently completed an independent trek to Bhrigu Sarovar (14,100ft) and a night trek to Shali Tibba (9,000ft). He is also a bike enthusiast and has covered the stretch of 1332 Kms on a bike expedition from Delhi to Chicham Khas (Spiti) in April 2023. He strongly believes in diversity, embraces the exposure that life brings along and is always enthusiastic about challenges. Having a diverse range of trade, he is able to corroborate the experiences with the teaching and learning process at Indus School of Leadership.”
Ms Ranu Gaur

Ranu Gaur is a dedicated outdoor educator, cyclist, and certified mountaineering instructor with an unwavering passion for adventure. With two decades of experience in the field, she has carved a path that has led her to conquer mountains, empower individuals, and inspire a love for the great outdoors.
Among other credentials, she is a PG in Commerce, Certified Mountaineering Instructor, Certified Fitness trainer and Wilderness Advanced First Aid certified instructor. A Senior Under Officer in NCC, she has been recognized for her contributions to NCC and sports, she has been awarded with ………….. by Madhya Pradesh Govt.
Amongst other hobbies, she is an ultra-marathon runner, participates in, Tug of war clinching national and international medals, rifle shooting and dance. She has scaled mountains such as Stock Kangri, Mt Kabru Dome and Mt Yunam. Her diverse work experience from tours and travels to the KPO sector, adventure parks to mountaineering institutes, helps her draw inspiring and intuitive leadership lessons. Her aim is to create a community of adventurers who embrace
challenges, grow in strength, and find solace in the beauty of nature.
