About Us
Indus School of Leadership (ISL) is one of India's premier leadership training institute. The leadership development philosophy is based on acquiring the ability to lead oneself first, then others. Consequently, we focus on the process of experiential learning with guided reflection for heightened self-awareness.
ISL partners with corporations to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Our partnership starts from identifying specific training requirements and basis that we design and conduct customized leadership development programmes. These provide individual and group assessments & follow up with remedial follow-up training.
Vision
“To be the center of excellence for preparing transformational leaders to meet all the challenges of the 21st century, through experiential learning, traditional values, and the preferred application of 'soft power' to achieve personal & organizational goals.”
We believe that the leadership journey has to start with the individual; beginning with self- awareness and a positive attitude. The leadership credo is simple: lead yourself first, then others. Consequently, there is a greater emphasis on:
- The quest for a higher purpose and giving meaning to life
- Experiential learning through reflection, balanced work-life relations, and shifting the responsibility for learning from the organization to the individual
- Setting long-term vision and goals
- Creativity and the ability to live with adversities
Methodology
The adventure programming is crucial to Experiential Learning Cycle (ELC) as adventure is a way of doing things rather than being an activity. Learning becomes an adventure when there is an element of surprise, challenge and “aha” experience. Adventure assists in engaging in leadership training due to its innate feature of uniqueness and relevance.
The core value of the program is ‘Learning by Doing’.
In our programs, a set of activities will give a challenging experience to participants, emotionally, mentally and physically. Subsequently, guided reflection will be conducted by our experienced trainers to bestow meaning to the experience for further application and help gain knowledge of their self-image, self-concept and purpose.
Our Process
Niche leadership development programmes aimed at meeting the specific training needs of corporations , co-created, implemented, and evaluated by a senior leadership team based on TNA. The flow is explained schematically.
